Presents the application of bypass pipe pressurization to a secondary network system to solve the problems existed in heating network serving high-rise buildings and multi-storied buildings together, and provides the determining method of allowable maximum height of high-rise buildings. Simple and practicable, the method can be used to determine the allowable maximum building height quickly when designing heat exchange stations under shortage of pipe data. In following design process, desirable heating effect can be obtained through defining the location of household regulating valves and throttling quantity with pressure diagram.
